She has created Kurated, an online design platform, to bring a personalized and highly curated space to you, with a traditional interior design approach in mind. Think of Kurated as having a full-service designer available to you in a remote fashion, in a highly flexible and incredibly efficient way.
Revisions + Finalizing your design
The entire process unfolds within our online Kurated Studio where you’ll be able to give us real time feedback on each and every component of your design. This allows us to make the necessary revisions and changes you’ve requested. Next, we will finalize your flatlay image with all the, approved by you, design elements which you’ll be able to purchase right from your Kurated dashboard.

Once you’ve approved your design, we move into the shopping stage.
You can purchase every design component directly from your Kurated dashboard. We are a one stop shop for every stage of your design process. We handle all the ordering and managing on the back end so you don’t have to stress about a single thing.
Sourcing
Benefits of working with the Kurated team of design professionals is that we don’t only source from retail sources. That would be way too easy. We love making our designs hard to copy. This is because we have “to the trade” vendor relationships and do business with sources who ship directly to the client but aren’t available to a regular homeowner. Think of us as an online design center that works with over 100 different vendors to bring you the ultimate design experience.

What makes Kurated different from traditional interior design?
Kurated has the exact same approach as traditional design but at a fraction of the price - done all-online. We are a small boutique virtual interior design platform that handles everything from the design phase all the way through the ordering process , managing and tracking every piece of furniture for you, so you don’t have to worry about a single thing.
Traditional interior design normally charges in three phases :
1. Design Phase - Usually billed in the form of a flat design fee.
2. Purchasing phase - Billed hourly for vendor communication, handling damages, returns, orders, follow ups, juggling deliveries, custom furniture ordering, warehousing and so much more.
3. Furniture delivery, installation and styling phase - Which is also billed hourly, in most cases.
There is a tremendous value in hiring a traditional interior designer. Oftentimes they handle major design and even construction issues, rectify any and all delivery matters, handle returns, damages, all communication with vendors, million follow ups and ultimately, they advocate their hearts for you as their client. Their time is extremely valuable and that is what the homeowner is ultimately paying for.

Will I be able to communicate with my designer during the design process?
Absolutely.
Our online studio dashboard allows you to message with your designer and give real time feedback throughout the entire design process.
How do you measure my home without visiting in person?
With today’s technology improving day by day, the interior design industry has evolved into being able to design spaces remotely.
We take pride in eliminating the need for the homeowner having to measure their own space which is a huge improvement to how online design had been done in the past.
You will create a design profile in our dashboard and throughout that process, we will ask you to submit photos of your space(s). We then use our proprietary technology to measure the walls directly off your images. We then source furnishings based off those measurements, so there aren’t any mistakes made down the line in the design process.
After you’ve approved your design through your dashboard, we will create a 3D rendering and also send you a box of samples to your door (Full service and Bundle packages only).
And lastly, you get to purchase everything through your dashboard , and we handle the ordering process from our vendors.
I have a strict budget. How do you stick to it?
During your onboarding process, you will set an all-in budget, you and your family are comfortable with. Budget plays a central role in how we design your space.
All-in budget refers to your furnishing budget.
Oftentimes, our clients just don’t know their budget right off the bat. This is normal, because not everyone knows how much things cost nowadays. For that reason, we provide a Furnishing Budget Estimation Guide that can help you come to a number you’re happy with.
For the purposes of maintaining a median quality design, we recommend a minimum expenditure of $20,000 per Full-Service space. Room Refresh suggestions start at a minimum of $5,000.
