Before & After

 BEFORE

Not enough kitchen space. Galley style. Dated. Lack of storage.

Our client wanted to take the wall down between the old kitchen and the old formal dining room. The style of the home was Spanish Colonial and traditional throughout. We wanted to maintain the style of New Traditional and nearly tripled the size of the kitchen layout.

PROJECT GOALS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Expand the footprint of the kitchen and maximize usable space

  • Add all inside cabinet storage solutions, water filtration system, a separate bar sink while maintaining Classic & Timeless look.

  • Create a large island with at least 6 stools

  • Rework lighting and anchor the island with 3 boxed in pendants

  • Off white, antique brushed bronze and rust accents.

  • Create a separate bar area for entertaining

  • Create a focal point in the kitchen with a Bespoke range hood.

Location : New York

Projected Budget: $100,000 +

LET’S BEGIN WITH THE PROCESS

First Draft Kitchen Layout

  • Client shared the initial draft where we gave our expert opinion on the layout and made a couple of revisions with the cabinet showroom.

  • Client wanted an even bigger island.

  • Lot’s a space for entertaining around the island as well as the bar area.

  • 3 instead of 2 pendants above the island and ceiling can lights to brighten up the space.

  • Large 36” cooktop with bespoke range hood

  • Space for 6 stools

  • Keep the original sink
